- Year 2008: About $20,000
Emory University
- Year 2008: $24,000 for 4 years, 5th year funding also can be provided pending progress is being made.
University of Illinois
- Year 2008: $30,000 for 5 years
Indiana University
- Year 2005: Between $18,000 and $24,000 plus one year bonus of $4,000 (varied by canidate) for five years
University of Iowa
- Year 2008: $25,000 for as many years as you keep progressing (they have funded through seventh year) and highly subsidized health insurance for family members
Michigan State University
- Year 2008: $27,000 for 5 years
University of North Carolina
- Year 2008: $20,000 for 4 years
Northwestern University
- Year 2008: $30,000 for 5 years
University of Southern California
- Year 2008: About $25,000 for 5 years
University of Texas - Austin
- Year 2005: About $28,000 for 5 years
The Ohio State University
- Year 2008: $27,000. Health care subsidized by university, but student still must pay something.
University of Michigan
- Year 2008: $32,000 a year (for five years), $2,000 for computer and conferences in your first and third years ($4,000 total), respectively, basically free ($15 copay for everything, including having a baby) and very good health care for your entire family. Highly subsidized life insurance, cheap gym membership at Ross School Gym in business building.
