Talk:How can I study for the CPA without a firm to purchase study materials?

I would like more tips on how to get free prep materials in the manner indicated on this page. I tried, and it did not work. Granted, I was not a doctoral student, but I contacted several (3) of the prep course companies, and was turned down by all three.They all told me to get back to them when I was a professor. Also, what doctoral student has time to be studying for the CPA?--Jlamro 21:35, 28 July 2008 (MDT)
