− | I think | + | Hi all, if you want my ([[Allee, Kris|Kris Allee's]]) opinion, I think that having your blog address as a part of your personal contact information would be great (i.e., put it on each personal page), but probably not appropriate for the main page of the PhD prep track website. As I see it the main benefit of this website is to provide macro level information on PhD programs and the schools they are affiliated with; whereas, micro level information (as in personal experiences like [http://alleefam.blogspot.com/2008/03/alyson-first-lost-tooth.html my daughter loosing her first tooth]) shouldn't be on the main page of the PhD prep track website. − | + | I took the blog page off, so deleted all comments about that (except Kris's, as it contains the sweet link to the tooth losing page). I also took the March Madness link off, as it is locked to new entrants. Interestingly, my (Jeff Hoopes) bracket is doing very well. Yipeeeeeeeeeeee!!!. |

As I see it the main benefit of this website is to provide macro level information on PhD programs and the schools they are affiliated with; whereas, micro level information (as in personal experiences like my daughter loosing her first tooth) shouldn't be on the main page of the PhD prep track website. However, this is just my opinion.
I took the blog page off, so deleted all comments about that (except Kris's, as it contains the sweet link to the tooth losing page). I also took the March Madness link off, as it is locked to new entrants. Interestingly, my (Jeff Hoopes) bracket is doing very well. Yipeeeeeeeeeeee!!!.
