Publications at time of promotion to full professor - by school bins of 5 (tables available for download)

The top 15 ranked universities (see university rankings) were further broken down into groups of 5.  Professors inside each ranking pool of 5 schools were ranked in descending order by number of publications in the “Top Business” category, followed by the totals in the “Top 6” category, and so forth to the “Other” category (See journal categories). The ranking pool was then divided into three equal groups (1 to 33%, 34 to 66%, and 67 to 100%) and the average computed for each of these terciles is reported. The overall first and last professor publication totals resulting from the ordering are listed under minimum and maximum.
